Data Recovery and Backup

When talking to customers, one of the largest inhibitors to adopting or extending virtualisation is the perceived complexity surrounding data protection. Traditional dedicated tape solutions do not always match or scale to the needs of a SAN based virtualisation solution. That's why we have come up with a variety of data recovery and backup solutions

LAN2LAN work closely with our customers to define two key criteria:

• The Recovery Time Objective (RTO) – How long can they afford to wait for a system to be recovered from backup.
• The Recovery Point Objective (RPO) – The number and frequency of points in time that they need to have available to restore data from.

The combination of these two criteria allows us to create a custom backup strategy for each customer.
