Health Check

Running a Collaborative Solution is like running a car. When it’s shiny and new – it tends to run smoothly. But as time passes, small problems occur and it may not run as quickly. Just like a car needs to be serviced – so a Collaboration Infrastructure benefits from a health check. A health check can spot problems before they have an impact on the business.

LAN2LAN’s Support Technicians, like mechanics, know where to look for problems. Your systems provide a large amount of data in log files and via reporting tools. We know how to quickly sift through this data and spot potential problems. The technician then produces a report, with a ‘traffic light’ list of issues and recommendations. The potential problems can then be resolved by us or your own IT team.

Many of LAN2LAN’s Support Clients choose to have their systems regularly health checked by our technical team. This service is also available to clients without a support contract.

LAN2LAN’s Support Technicians conduct over a hundred Health Checks each year. A smaller collaborative health check (one to five servers) takes 1½ to 2 days to collect the data and produce the report, although large installations of course can take longer.
